Digital Seminar on Artificial Intelligence Sparks Intellectual Dialogue on the Future of Technology and Society

On Thursday evening, June 19, 2025, Professional Tools for Training and Capacity Building organized a thought-provoking digital seminar via Zoom, titled:
“How Will Artificial Intelligence Change the World?”
This event was part of the Artificial Intelligence and Creativity Forum, a program dedicated to fostering advanced intellectual dialogue on issues of technology and societal transformation.

The session was opened by Dr. Maysoun Issa Ahmad Al-Saleem, General Director of Professional Tools, with a welcoming speech in which she emphasized that artificial intelligence is no longer a scientific luxury, but a strategic path that is reshaping the relationship between humans and knowledge. She highlighted the importance of strengthening critical thinking in addressing the challenges and opportunities posed by technology.

The keynote presentation was delivered by Professor Salwa Hamada, an AI expert at the Academy of the Arabic Language in Cairo, who discussed the impact of artificial intelligence on language, identity, and education. She stressed the need for effective Arab strategies that strike a balance between leveraging technological advancement and preserving cultural identity.

The session was skillfully moderated by Mr. Ahmad Al-Dammati, university lecturer and coordinator of the AI Forum, whose facilitation reflected a strong integration of linguistic, technological, and human dimensions. His approach created an interactive environment rich in insights and essential questions, addressing key challenges facing the Arab world.

This seminar is part of a series of activities under the Artificial Intelligence and Creativity Forum, launched by Professional Tools as an intellectual initiative aiming to promote an enlightened digital culture, and to keep pace with technological developments through well-designed awareness frameworks aligned with the organization’s legal goals in education, training, and social research.
